EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy used for individuals aimed at working though trauma or mental health issues and can be used in combination or in place of traditional talk therapy.
EMDR works by helping individuals cope with distressing memories. This is done by pairing memories and beliefs with bilateral somatic interventions to help the brain reintegrate the memory in an adaptive way.
